Company seeks a partnership accountant in its Operations Group.  Will be an excellent oppurtunity for growth and professionals seeking to greatly expand their responsibilities over time.  Role will be in the Partnership Accounting Group. Individual will be responsible for accounting/operations for a handful of funds and fund related issues including, but not limited to, financial statement preparation, distribution and carry analysis, as well as other general partner and limited partner reporting.   It will include project work for the CFO and COO.

An ideal background for the position is as follows:

• Accounting degree

• Public accounting firm background or private background (if in financial services industry) Private Equity venture capital experience is a strong plus.

• Strong accounting and communication skills, highly organized, highly detailed, motivated with a desire to learn.

• Exposure to private equity funds, hedge funds or alternative assets would be ideal.  At a minimum – financial services experience.

• 4-6 years of experience.  CPA a plus
