Main Responsibilities
• Review and analysis of bookings in the PFE business line. Analysis and explanation of movements and Cooke Weighted Assets resultant from the booking made. • Input, follow-up and analysis of NBI (both accounting and evaluation) for FPM and the business line. • Monthly Direct Cost Reporting: Variance analysis, commentaries on the various business lines. This covers all the various indicators: expenses, headcount, comparing to budget and trend analysis. • Follow up and review of costs allocated to business lines and control of allocation of BLOSS and CORI costs to Business Lines • Liaison with all locations where PFE staff are located to ensure adequate follow-up is done locally • Assisting with studies at request, after prioritisation, for the benefit of the business lines, ACFI Paris or management. • Reporting and explanation of actual results against budget • Calculation and control of transfer pricing agreements as required • Assist with regulatory and statutory reporting for the entities where this is a requirement • Ad hoc reporting and follow-up as and when requested. Education & Past Experience
ACCA or CIMA qualified. Previous management accounting experience gained in a banking or financial services environment. Proficiency in the performing the tasks described above.
Technical Skills
Microsoft Office package - strong user Fluent written and spoken English French would be advantageous Other systems - helpful but not essential - Bristol (Cube), Peoplesoft (GL) & Essbase
Personal Abilities
Motivated Team worker - working with the Finance & Performance Management team and with internal clients in the business lines. Able to work within a high pressure environment and in adherance to deadlines.
