Highly skilled Data Strategist with an exceptional understanding of macro-economic and financial data sought to join the highly skilled Data team. Expert understanding and hands-on experience with Meta Data, Taxonomies, quality standards, metrics and procedures required.

Do you have experience analyzing and acquiring new data sources as well as innovating better ways to collect data?

Advanced understanding of financial data, multiple markets and financial instruments is required to perform the following responsibilities:
Seek out, analyze and acquire new innovative data sources;
Develop and maintain the data management framework that includes data classification, quality standards, metrics, procedures and taxonomies;
Track data utilization metrics;
Manage data contracts, etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelors degree; Masters highly preferred.
3+ years current data management experience (managing taxonomies and meta data; data classification, metrics, etc)
Strong understanding of multiple asset classes and financial instruments;
Intermediate to advanced SQL and MS Excel skills
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and XML
Proven data expertise
