Mercer's outsourcing business is dedicated to solving our clients' most complex benefits administration challenges. By delivering seamless services across benefits domains and international borders, we enable some of the world's leading companies to more effectively manage their benefits programs.

The Product Management team is responsible for the development and management for all of Mercer’s Outsourcing products.  Currently within this team we are looking for a Portfolio Manager to support the Product & Risk Leader in relation to investment related projects for the team.

As a Portfolio Manager you will carry out investment analysis and investment portfolio administration for all products offered by the Outsourcing division.  On a day to day basis this role will see your responsibilities include:

  • Manage the operation of certain Mercer Super Trust investments which total $2.5billion
  • Support the Outsourcing Product & Risk Leader in relation to a number of investment related projects
  • Prepare Trustee Board and Investment Committee reports
  • Performance calculation and reporting to members, employers, policy committees
  • Investment due diligence analysis and reporting for new funds
  • Cash flow management
  • Draft and maintain Trustee investment documentation (e.g. Investment Policy Statements, Risk Management Statements)
  • Monitor investment manager compliance

To be considered for this role you must be able to supply evidence demonstrating the following knowledge, skills and experience.

  • Minimum 3 years investments experience and willingness to complete investments qualifications
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and numeric skills
