Working to a house style and aiming for the highest quality standards, you will be editing, and publishing Macquarie research from the US and Asia.

Macquarie Securities is a full-service securities business that specialises in:

Macquarie is now seeking to recruit an Editor/Desktop Publisher with excellent design and layout skills. In this role, you will support the equity research team with the production of high quality, accurate research material in a past-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Working to a house style and aiming for the highest quality standards, you will be editing, and publishing Macquarie research from the US and Asia. This will include company, country and sector reports, periodicals and presentations from Macquarie analysts, economists and strategists. You will also reformat layout templates in Word to comply with Macquarie style guides; format copy, tables and charts for equity research reports and presentations (Word, PowerPoint and Excel); and help create new templates within guidelines, where required.

To be successful, you will have:

  • editing and DTP experience, ideally in an investment services or equity research environment; \strong Microsoft Word, Power Point and Outlook skills, along with intermediate MS Excel knowledge;
  • working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design), mainly Adobe Acrobat (generating and manipulating pdfs);
  • exceptional attention to detail and superior time management skills;
  • the aptitude and desire to learn new skills and software;
  • the ability to adapt to new situations and apply knowledge to frequently changing systems
  • proven experience working well within a team environment;
  • flexibility, good verbal and written communication skills;
  • strong interpersonal skills;
  • listening & questioning skills.
