This a unique Senior Management opportunity with a global investment bank widely recognised as being one of the most successful in riding the current storm in the global financial markets.

This Regional Management opportunity sits within the core infrastructure organisation and will be responsible for the Regional Client Technology Service Group (CTS).  CTS is responsible for a range of products and solutions including:

• Email infrastructure (Lotus Notes / Exchange)

• File & Print infrastructure (Novell / Active Directory)

• Wireless device infrastructure (Blackberry)

• Virtualized desktop solutions (VDI, Citrix)

• Desktop management toolsets (SMS, BigFix) including software deployment

The Regional Client Technology Services (CTS) Lead will be responsible for partnering with the global CTS organization and providing leadership to the regional Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) organization to plan, develop and implement the firm’s Asia wide client technology services.

You will have expert knowledge of end to end desktop technical and support functions, a strong and proven understanding of technical incident management, problem management and service improvement processes and functions. As this role will be a key component of the senior infrastructure management group, you must also have in depth experience of the business and people management of a sizeable IT group.

Your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Planning and Direction for client technology services

• Develop the strategic plan and communicate the existing approaches for global client technology services

• Implementation and delivery of business objectives for functional areas in the operating model

• Manage timetable of key targets and milestones from “top of organization”

Provide governance and leadership

• Shape and plan the direction for the future development and growth of global Client Technology Services as an organization

Continuous improvement

• Constant review and analysis using performance metrics of Client Technology Services environment to drive improvement

• Established governance process, setting the foundation for building and aligning CTS functions

Communication and decision making

• Ensure that a planned, defined and communicated structure is in place to manage internal operating functions and infrastructure (technology)

Managing Change/Development

• Ensure decision-making frameworks are available, ensure conflict resolution mechanism is in place

• Facilitate agile thinking and action

• Identify and track all elements that will be affected by change; configuration, functionality, related processes, costs, individual users and the organization as a whole

• Communicate your vision

• Enable CTS to operate with a global view

People Management

• Manage senior team members

• Develop, train, and coach a team of staff across Asia Pacific locations

• Play a major role in performance management

• Promote effective teamwork and manage interpersonal issues

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated Executive Leadership qualities (Strategic Thinking, Ownership, Execution

• Focus, Client Focus, Financial Management, Risk Management, Partnership, People Management, Integrity)

• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying global technology strategies

• Good influencing skills; confident, yet open minded when dealing with conflict

• Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a dual reporting relationship

• Significant experience working in Asia required
