Our client is a major private equity fund of funds and one of the leading global investors in private equity LBO firms, venture capital business and mid market funds. They have attracted outstanding returns for investors over a number of years. They are now looking to add a Fund Manager. Role Purpose
To carry out thorough due diligence and analysis on potential Private Equity investments, to monitor existing Private Equity investments, and to assist with development of the Private Equity business.
Accountabilities and Deliverables Investment Performance
Responsible for contributing to the delivery of portfolio performance which meets mandated client requirements
Responsible for assessing potential Private Equity investments in a manner which adheres to the investment methodology
Responsible for preparing investment recommendations for submission to the Investment Committee
Responsible for the ongoing monitoring and valuation of a portfolio of existing Private Equity investments
Responsible for a full contribution to the team research process
Responsible for contributing to the provision of a good, effective and responsive level of service to all clients
Business Development
Responsible for contributing to the development of profitable new business Compliance
Deliver behaviours and a culture that meets the highest compliance standards
Ensure effective management and administration of funds
Ensure compliance with client mandates Leadership
Responsible for high quality performance management of those members of the Private Equity team who report to you
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experiences
Educated to Degree standard, or with substantial relevant experience
Extensive knowledge of the Private Equity market
Extensive and established relationships with external industry participants
A developed track record in assessing Private Equity investment opportunities
High degree of discretion and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information
